Unique hinged cockle shell in sold silver with 9ct gold pearl

This unique pendant necklace is handmade using a fully intact hinged cockle shell found on a Gower beach. The shell was carefully cast in silver clay before being kilned and polished by hand. Together with sterling silver and 9ct Gold to create a pearl using traditional techniques a beautiful pendant was created.  Pleasures approx 8mm across and 5mm wide. Comes on a sterling silver chain.
